摘要:

       Embankment slopes composed of spatially variable soils have a variety of different failure modes that are affected by the correlation distances of the material properties and the geometry and total length of the slope. This talk examines the reliability of soil slopes for embankments of different length and uses parallel computing to analyse the stability of very long embankments (up to 100 times the embankment height) for a clay soil characterised by a spatially varying undrained shear strength. A series of analyses using the 3D random finite element method (RFEM) has been undertaken to show how the reliability of slopes of various length can be efficiently computed by combining simple probability theory with a detailed 3D RFEM analysis of a representative shorter slope of length 10 times the slope height. The heterogeneity in the third dimension that is often ignored in the vast majority of literature and the weakest link behavior in the failure of such long linear soil-structures are highlighted in this talk.

 

报告人简介:

     李亚军,博士,中国地质大学(北京),加拿大达尔豪斯大学(新斯科舍省)访问学者,土木工程学会工程风险与保险研究分会第二届青年论坛委员。研究方向包括:岩土三维边坡的稳定性,岩土体参数的(空间)非均匀性,地质统计,岩土工程问题的随机可靠度分析方法,岩土工程现场勘测的优化设计,随机场(过程)理论,地下隧道围岩稳定性,深隧道的水力力学行为(核废料地质存储),地基基础/挡土墙稳定性,地下水污染与修复S/S(固化与稳定)。发表学术论文20余篇,获得发明专利1项,以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI学术论文6篇、EI期刊论文1篇,发表专著一本,国际会议论文10余篇,在国外参与荷兰STW项目的堤坝可靠度模型的验证和校核工作,为堤坝的设计提出指导意见。参加多次国际会议并做学术报告,并担任Georisk,  Computers  and  Geotechnics等国际期刊的审稿人,在荷兰代尔夫特理工大学做博士后期间,参与完成欧盟核废项目PETRUS  III、荷兰项目OPERA的地下隧道(用于核废料存储)可靠度分析与安全评价。
